HISTORICAL WEATHER DATA

The data stored in this archive may be downloaded free of charge on condition that it is used for individual research or general interest only and that acknowledgement is given to Pitsford Hall weather station. Permission must be sought from the station manager for any other use of the data including re-publication for which a small charge may be levied.  The station holds earlier weather records for Northampton and other locations across the county which date back to 1880 - the 'paper archive'. Individuals requiring access to this data need to contact the weather station directly. There is a variable fee for accessing the paper archive dependent on the time involved and any reprographics involved. Click here to see a full list of charges.

The station publishes a full weather report each month. The Monthly Weather Report (ISSN 1741-4733) contains the full weather register, statistical summary, UK climatological analysis as well as news items relating to the weather across the county.
