Monthly weather reports from Pitsford Hall weather station are available from January 1998. The reports are stored on this site as text files. To download a report, click on the year below and then select the appropriate file from the archive directory. To view the reports clearly select 'word wrap' from the 'edit' pull-down menu. This data is made available on condition that it is used for non-commercial purposes. Each report is in MSWord format and comprises:

• a brief climatological analysis for Northamptonshire

• full statistical analysis of ground and air observations recorded at the weather station

• a full analysis and account of the weather across the United Kingdom

• thunder report

• notes on extreme weather events recorded in Northamptonshire

• reports from observers across the county

• station notes section providing news of the weather station's activities

Frequently, the Monthly Weather Report contains special reports. Recently, we have carried a report on the weather effects of the 1999 solar eclipse, tornado reports in Northamptonshire, and an analysis of the weather in Northamptonshire during 1998.

Subscription Rates

An annual subscription to the Monthly Weather Report costs £10, including P & P. The report is normally dispatched during the second and third weeks of each month. To receive a 12 month supply of weather reports via post, complete the form below. Upon receipt of your request for weather reports, we will send an invoice for £10. The first report will not be issued until receipt of the full subscription.
