| Rainfall was above average--and there was very little sunshine. | |||||||
| A disappointing month after such a pleasant March. | |||||||

| A sunny, but cold month. Dry, but keen and persistent winds from | |||||||

| A lovely month with temperatures above average and rainfall below. | |||||||

| A mild month, rainfall average, sunshine above average. Again a lot | |||||||

| A very cold month, especially the last 2 weeks. Rainfall was heavy | |||||||
| during the first half--and there were more than the average number of | |||||||
| frosty days and nights. Very heavy snowfalls during last 3 days. | |||||||
